LA Film and Television

2010-2025

Nanuq Original, LLC (doing-business-as CLAY Partners), was an award-winning Los Angeles, California loan-out company that I co-founded, co-owned and operated as its president from 2010-2025, serving Hollywood legacy film and television projects for over 15-years with fellow filmmaker and wife, Jill Jones, after we met at the Telluride Film Festival Student Symposium.

Here are a few of the highlights of our time spent living and working together in Los Angeles…

Snow To Sand was a really special project for us. The feature documentary took us places we never imagined we would ever go, including to the top of Mount Whitney, the High Sierra, and stunning National Parks and Forests along the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail. The film was produced as a big screen cinematic experience, which cultivated in a celebration live event and screening for the 50th Anniversary of the U.S. National Park Service’s National Trails System Act of 1968 at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

SNOW TO SAND led to another really special project produced in partnership with the National Park Service. After serving for a year with AmeriCorps as a State and National Service Member and Documentary Photographer in the Santa Monica Mountains and Angeles National Forest, a dream job opportunity took me to Channel Islands National Park and Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area for a one-year contract on a 40-minute documentary film and photography book, SEEDS OF HOPE.
